EHB group presents a vision for a 39,700km hydrogen pipeline infrastructure in 21 countries
Two-thirds of the network is based on repurposed natural gas pipelines
Lower investment cost per kilometre of pipeline compared to previous estimate
The Zeebrugge LNG terminal again widens its destination flexibility. This week we saw the first customer load an LNG container at the facility for rail transport. This lowers emissions and widens destination flexibility.
Friday 8 July, the terminal for liquified natural gas (LNG) in Dunkirk has received its first LNG tanker, thereby launching the industrial start-up of the facility.
Fluxys as partner in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is pleased to announce that the pipeline started commercial operations: an additional energy route into Europe has now opened after 4 and a half years of construction.
The EHB initiative is delighted to welcome six additional members Amber Grid (Lithuania), Bulgartransgaz (Bulgaria), Conexus Baltic Grid (Latvia), Gassco (Norway), Plinacro (Croatia), and REN (Portugal).
Ten partners including Fluxys are launching the North-C-Methanol project in the Ghent part of North Sea Port. The project aims at a world-class infrastructure to reduce CO2 emissions by 140,000 tonnes annually and to produce 44,000 tonnes of green methanol as feedstock for local industry and as fuel for ships and trains.
Fluxys' strategy is on the move. The latest example of that is a project in Wallonia in which our company is set to play a pivotal role. This time, it's all about the circular economy, and how CO2 from an industrial plant in the Liège region could be used to make concrete blocks for use in local construction.

On 1 November 2015, IUK's capacity auction processes will move from ISIS to PRISMA. In order to facilitate the transition, there will be two days where no day ahead auctions take place.
From today IUK is holding daily auctions for day-ahead capacity under the IUK Access agreement (IAA). The amount of capacity available each day is published on our Capacity Summary page. Full details of the service are available on our IAA Contract page. Parties are invited to contact us for more information and to sign up to take part in the auctions.

Fluxys Deutschland joins the Ostsee Anbindungsleitung and will market the corresponding transport capacities independently. The project strengthens security of supply by transporting regasified LNG. The OAL can subsequently be converted to the transportation of hydrogen to accelerate the energy transition.
With a view to achieving its carbon emission reduction goals, Heidelberg Materials' cement business in Belgium (currently known as CBR) aims to implement the Anthemis project at its Antoing cement plant and is pleased to partner with Fluxys Belgium to create a CO₂ value chain. The partners recently signed a declaration of interest underscoring the cement manufacturer's desire to have access to and use of the CO₂ transmission backbone project as proposed by the Belgian gas transmission infrastructure operator.
